In 2024, we celebrated our 49th year of providing nutritious meals to residents in need all over Hamilton County. It was a year of growth in many ways. We saw an increase in food costs, which created a demand for more funding by generous donors, as well as an increasing need for isolated homebound seniors to form connections. In the end, we had an extremely successful year and are so grateful for the support of our community and the trust our clients have in us to deliver on our promise of providing nutritious and nourishing meals.
More meals delivered than ever before in 2024!

As we enter our 50th year of serving meals to those in need across our community, we will be putting a call out for more volunteers to help with increasing demands. Volunteering with Meals on Wheels of Hamilton County is a great way to give back and can fit seamlessly into busy schedules. We even offer an Adopt-a-Route program for those who would like to join with coworkers or other organizations to volunteer together! Our Visiting Volunteers program is another great way to form meaningful connections with at-risk and homebound seniors.
Help us “Plant a Seed”
Donating to Meals on Wheels has never been more important, as food prices continue to increase and at-risk seniors become more vulnerable than ever. This year, we launched a new campaign called “Plant a Seed” to help us begin to create funding that will sustain our work for the next 50 years. Within the framework of this program, we are calling for 50 organizations, individuals or civic groups to donate $1000 each. We hope this will create a solid foundation so we can continue serving Hamilton County’s at-risk residents for years to come!
Thank you to everyone who helped us make a profound impact in 2024!
