The Central Indiana Council on Aging (CICOA)
CICOA’s mission is to empower older adults, people with disabilities, and their caregivers with answers, services and support.
They offer transportation, senior meals and nutrition, caregiver support services, and more, with a drive to ensure that seniors who want to remain independent have the tools to do so. A Caring Place Adult Day Services
As a daytime program through Catholic Charities Indianapolis, A Caring Place offers therapeutic recreation, socialization, programming, health assessments, monitoring, medication administration, meals, and transportation services daily for an hourly fee. The Memory Café
Usually held at a coffeehouse, library, or other public place, a memory café is a welcoming place for individuals facing Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or cognitive impairment. Together with their caregiver, seniors can socialized, play games, listen to music, and enjoy other appropriate activities.
