Meals on Wheels of Hamilton County (MOWHC) is stepping into its next chapter with a fresh new brand and logo that reflect the organization’s continued commitment to nourishing, connecting and caring for neighbors across the community.
The new branding comes at a time of significant momentum for Meals on Wheels of Hamilton County. After celebrating 50 years of driving compassion in 2025, the organization welcomed a new leadership team in early 2026 following the retirement of Executive Director Beth Gehlhausen, who led MOWHC for 15 years.
New Leadership, New Branding, Same Mission
The new leadership team includes Executive Director and CEO Tricia Hudson, Development and Outreach Director Jennifer Sturges, and Operations Director Chisum Gardner. Together, they are building on MOWHC’s strong history while looking for new ways to meet the changing needs of the community.
“Our new look represents more than a visual change,” says Tricia Hudson. “It represents our commitment to building on our strong history while embracing the opportunities ahead.”
Having collaborated with Meals on Wheels of Hamilton County for the past 10 years, Trio Marketing Creative Director Kat Wedmore helped bring that vision to life through the organization’s refreshed logo and brand identity.
“After a decade of working with Meals On Wheels of Hamilton County, I was elated to be given the task of creating rejuvenated logos and branding for the organization,” said Wedmore. “Their new emblem incorporates the initialism ‘MOW’ into the wheel design, making the mark unique and able to stand on its own. We have also structured the colors of the brand to represent both client-facing and volunteer/donor-facing content, utilizing an engaging orange for clients and mobilizing green for contributors. With branding that supports the purpose and mission of the organization, MOWHC can move into their next chapter reinvigorated.”
The new brand reflects MOWHC’s broader vision and commitment to always moving forward, honoring more than five decades of service while preparing to reach more people, expand services and respond to the needs of the community for generations to come.
“We are proud of where we have been, excited about where we are going, and ready for what comes next,” Hudson said.
